Hi sorry to post such thread when i know there has been discussion on this already.

but i was curious to watch this video and that make my buying decision of a dash-cam easier.



Can i really do this, is there any adverse effect on the brains ECU Sensors....

Any ideas on the steps ?

Does anyone have any more detail on the proper wires and there colors ?

Answers much appreciated. I really want a quick and clean solution in power and wiring my dash-cam in my 8v.

Yes that can be done. I'd use an ohm meter to make sure the right voltage, however, you'll still need a 12volt to 5v convertor.
