Creaking noise - front suspension - 2015 A3

Hi everyone,

Recently, I've noticed that there is a creaking noise that comes from the front suspension after applying a full-lock (or steering quite far to the right). It never used to do this, but does appear to be getting worse. I've recorded the sound and uploaded it on Vocaroo here:

What could this be?

Get a helper to listen to the top of the suspension towers under the bonnet and see if the noise is coming from those when you turn the wheel. It could be a strut top bearing, I had this from new. It made horrible groaning noises over speed bumps or eventually just any uneven surface just driving normally. There's a thread about it, I'll find a link...
