Collected a2004 2.5 TDI Quattro last weekend and begun checking allround reveals acrack about 5cms long vertically in the front of the coolant tank which is weeping and thus must be replaced.Is this rare?Seems to be a slowly progressing fault but a new one has to be ordered and I assume it will be safe to use for a few days ?The good news is that they only cost about £12! Has anyone had to replace one for the same reason?
