Okay, since I can't drive my car due to an engine swap I've been playing around and exploring the car and I found this connector in the glove box.

Anyone mind telling me what it is? I have the Concert II head unit if it's a head unit connector.

Looks like a serial connector.

Has the car ever had a mobile phone kit? Don’t think it’s for AMI.

Take the glove box out and trace it.

I have no idea if it had a phone kit but looks like a plug for one of those bluetooth kits

Looks similar to the connection you would have put into a computer , so guessing a VGA cable.
Have you had your can scanned with a diagnostic cable just to see if it throws any errors up , cause if it doesn't tape it up and hide behind dash

It's a mini D ribbon IDC connector, what it could be for is anyone's guess.
