Changing S3 drop links and got stuck!

Started to change the drop links and antiroll bar bushes on the S3 this morning and I've taken the nuts off the drop links but they are still under tension and won't budge! Anyone share some light on how to please?

The days got worse when I have checked with my 19 spanner that my antiroll bar is 19mm and I have 17mm bushes! Also found a worn brake hose, leaky shock and both inner cv joints have split so all is going well!

You got both sides jacked up? If not jack the other side up which should equalise the tension on the ARB. A little bit of prying on the ARB may be required.

Cheers. Yeh I lifted the other side up and both drop links came right off. I never had to do that on the mrs's fiesta but makes so much sense!
