guys needs abit of advice when I've always unlocked my car with the fob once that the drivers would only open and then pressed for the second time the passenger and all others doors would unlock, however now when I press the fob once it still does unlock the drivers side only but when I press for the second time on the fob, the passenger remains locked and rear doors unlock. Can anyone give me abit of advice what to look out for or what has possibly happened? I have changed the fobs battery but still the same issue, The car is a 59 a4 TDI sline Thanks VJ
Hi folks I am facing the same issue with my A4 SE TDI B8 driver side rear door wont open sometimes from the outside and even from inside sometimes. Usually notice this when the weather is wet or temperature drops occasionally. Took my car into Salisbury Audi, they claimed it was the drivers door control unit that was faulty and replaced the part for almost £400. They returned the vehicle claiming the issue was resolved only for me to find out the door was still not working, I am very disappointed in them, went into the dealership in person to report it to them they came off saying they were fully booked to carry out repairs again and can next attend to my car in a months time somewhere in December. Really upset with the outcome.
Really upset at them for a big dealership like that with so called experts in their service department to mess up like that.
