Car Has Broke Down

Or to be precise won't start.

It turns over but after a couple of seconds an oil can appears on the trip computer and no other warning lights.
Any ideas to what the problem could be before brakedown rescue turn up? Oil pump?

Is it oil pressure? Could be pick up pipe.. Have you had that symbol before? If not then it shouldn't hinder your start although don't try start it again.. Get it scanned first

The oil can comes on after repeated failure to start, it will not be anything to do with that...Got Fuel?

If theres not enoug oil pressure then thetappets wont work proporly and the calves wont open..... Just a guess

I've never had the symbol before and the car has always started first time.
The brakedown recovery came and when he went to start it after a bit of turnover it started. Turned it off and on a couple of times and starts no problem.
When i drove it round the corner 2nd seemed a bit sluggish to start off with.
It's booked in for a service in the morning so the guys are going to give it a going over.

i had this same probelm with mine.

when i started it, it sounded like a tractor is the only way to put it turns out it was the oil pump
