car going dead while driving

have got a 2004 A3 2.0fsi and am having this strange problem
my car keeps going completely dead while driving and when i try to restart immediately, it wont start until i let it sit for a while (20-30) mins before it comes back on..
i have no problem starting the car when cold ...
have read on the internet abt crank sensor and cam sensor but am kindda confuse which one relate to my problem, if any at all
would be very happy if someone give me an info regarding this issue..

Best thing to do is get it scanned ,look on the VCDS users map to see if anyone is near to you who can help.

this used to happen to older Audis,could be a number of causes incl the fuel pump relay.
