Not going Great

cant get them to work, going to have to call it a day, I am looking at making a Loom but that will involve plugging it into the back, this we can house a Halogen bulb of the correct size, similar to my Canbus size light loom.

So, I will be giving refunds, I will need the old bulbs back, please send them 2nd recorded, I am happy to cover postage cost for returning but only upto the value of £1.85 which is a 2nd class large small parcel.

In the note I need you to put on there which paypal address you paid on at the time, you Full name also.

Now, the Looms I will try and do cheap if they come together nicely, looking at one ATM it seem I could possibly know them out for less than £12 but waiting on a the terminals for the male end. This is less than half the price of kufatec as theirs are over £30 with postage and they use resistors which I am not a fan of.

I would rather a bulb hidden behind.

once I have 10 sets back I will send the payment over via paypal and do a mass payment rather than doing them one by one so please if you see I have signed for them no need to PM to see if have received them.

Its been great trying to do it but the CEM has beaten me.

That's a shame, you've been trying to get this right for absolutely ages but there comes a time when enough is enough. Hopefully the loom will prove more successful. I look forward to it!

Can someone do me a favour please?

looking at the wiring diagram there is only 1 x + and 1 x - powering the plate lights, can someone unplug just 1 plate light and tell me if an error comes up please and if it says lets say left plate light or right plate light.

Unplugging the right hand lamp (facing the front of the car) brings up the dash bulb out error, and no it doesn't state which bulb has been removed.

This is on a SB MY2010

Looms I have made work without error, Slice has the test looms.

So I have ordered the terminals, they will be here next week, Connectors are on back order from Audi so who knows but I am trying to get them here for end of this month so I can spend a day and build a load up.

In terms of Price, kufatec charge £33 posted to your door, I know this as I had to buy some to see what they have done, them resisters are huge, they must get roasting lol.

I think I will be able to do them for £15 - £7 as the connectors come in at £10 just for the 2.

Sounds like the LED number plate bulb saga continues, works for some and not others. It seems like the resistor cable is the way to go to be completely sure whether it is via t8ups, home made or kufatec...

Im starting to send make the looms, Kufatec looms work out to be about £35 after you have checkedout.

I can do my own version without a resistor for £20.

Ive not had many bulbs back for return, do you guys that bought not want a refund?

ok, Just spoke to Audi on the Back order, Germany have them in stock so the connectors will be here in 5 to 7 days.

If you guys are at AITP and you bring your car to the back of the stand and have the Trim removed i can wire it in, it will only be £5 on the day as i would use 2 new terminals and a bulb holder, then you can use the existing bulbs that are canbus friendly, and due the the design they will last longer than most off the shelf bulbs.

Hi there so am I right in thinking we keep our led bulbs and buy an additional loom which will clear the error or buy oem leds for audi £££ and then a loom to clear the error sorry not been on it a while so just trying to make sense

I've used some non oem leds I think both aftermarket Canbus leds and oem leds work fine once loom is in place and mines a 2010 car.
