The fitment on my rear arches is around 2 inches away from the rim. Where I'm running stretched tyres and coilovers near enough all the way down, every time I go over a dip in the road it's leaving marks. My rims now look as if I've curbed the hell out of them both sides. Is there anything I can adjust to stop these hitting together??? Someone has said something about stuffer rear shocks, but I don't get it

What suspension are you running? Most coilovers have a progressive spring rate, meaning they get stiffer as they compress. There are brands of coilovers with a set spring rate so they are stiffer. I've changed mine from H&R premium performance to BC Racing with upgraded 10K springs.

Only running FK street coilovers.
Is there anyway to stiffen up the rear to stop this happening, without spending big money on better coilovers?

only way would be getting spings with a set spring rate

*edit
check out swift springs

also, I'm not all knowing about this so maybe someone else will comment as well
