I've just replaced my brake light bulb, unfortunately the nut that holds the cluster in position fell out. How do I retrieve it? 2005 sportback

I've never had it happen but I've read that if it's falls down that little hole it's gone for good.

You'll need to remove the plastic trim that goes across the boot opening, get a torch in there with maybe a magnet on the end of a wire hanger, if not then you'll need to remove the boot side trim/cover to get behind there to retrieve it.

Silly me, was thinking of a B7 cab nut, lol, my client rung me to tell me he had dropped his rear light nut into the void, so many cars, not enough memory :)
