Hi all my boost gauge has been fitted when stationary it reads minus 30 psi
Is that normal everything I have read so far suggest it should be minus 20 psi is this bad?

Normal atmospheric pressure is + 14.7 psi in relation to a vacuum at 0 psi. You can't have -20 psi if you are measuring from normal ambient pressure. On my boost gauge idle is around -0.65 to -0.7 bar so that around -9.5 to -10.3 Psi .

Where have you connected the pick up point for the gauge?.

ok will do that today thanks but the question still remains is minus 30 hg normal?
