B8.5 2014 S4 - Homelink not working. Went through steps.

Hi!

I have a Genie garage door opener. I went through all the proper prompts. The MMI screen gave detailed instructions of how to do it, and said "3 Flashes=Success", but even though my blinkers flashed 3 times after the steps, it still didn't work.

Anyone successfully able to get Homelink working with a Genie opener?

Is Genie the manufacturer? They don't appear on the list. http://www.homelink.com/compatible/eu/garage

Get in contact with Homelink http://www.homelink.com/contact as long as you are prepared to wait a few days, they do provide good service.
In my case Gliderol isn't on the list but they still took details of my remote and checked. I then needed to buy the universal receiver.

I can't get to that page as I'm in the UK. On my link for the EU, Genie is not listed. Nevertheless as I suggested, contact Homelink and ask them to check.
