I know that you're an audiophile for some good years, read on somewhere else on forums .Will you share your thoughts If I'll be insistent on above idea?

Why? Purchase a tool wrap for like £5 and put them under the floor

Nothing wrong with your idea other than your are overthinking your install (in my mind). Am all for people doing their own thing but the end result will be no different than taking the simpler route, and you will be reducing the space within your boot by mounting the sub under the shelf.
