Hi guys and gals

I have an issue with my car hoping you could help.

I have searched the forum but can't seem to find the information I need.

I have a continuous noise/tapping sound coming from dashboard from inside of the car. You can't hear it outside only inside the cabin. It's definitely not engine related as I notice the sound comes and goes when I play with the air conditioning settings?

Does anybody have an idea?

I'm hoping to sell my car soon and really want to sort this out before I do.

I have seen this clip on YouTube which is similar to the noise my car is making

Sounds like the air vents for your climate control system. Turn it off and see if the noise stops.

You need to get it connected to VCDS and read the fault codes. This will probably show a fault code with one of the motors that drive the flaps .
Could well be a similar fault to this.
