Hi all, I have a 2009 Audi A3 3dr and the bottom of my door panel seems loose and it emits a slight buzz when driving sometimes, the screw holding it on doesn't seem to be working, I've tried taking out the screw and re-inserting but the bottom of the door panel is just as loose as the screw doesn't hold anything (pictured), even if the screw held it correctly it looks like the door panel would still be loose at the bottom, any ideas? I've uploaded some pictures.

Thanks

If you can take the door card off, check to see the condition of the clips as, if the card had been off previously it’s likely that one or several are broken.

If so, get some of these https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/190929039962 and replace where needed.

The screw at the bottom - it looks like the plastic is broken so the card is popping out over the screw? Try a small washer on the screw, just big enough to catch the remaining plastic.

Thanks, that's really helpful, I didn't think of trying a washer, that's a good idea I'll give it a go tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'll see if I can remove the door card, I'm not very experienced but I'll give it a go if I have to, thanks again!

Make sure all clips are located correctly first and then fit all the screw. Fit all screws loose before tightening all Make sure all screws tighten down correctly (not cross threaded causing increase tension, incorrect screw, hole full of ****.) If in doubt few doug a doug a's on an impact gun will run it home. Send it home Wally!!

I have just done this to my doors as the clips had broken. I ordered new clips, there are 2 types and they are just pence.
There are three screws holding the panel on with torx drive screws which must be removed first before you can remove the panel 2 are recessed and behind the trim strip and the third is the one you have found on the bottom.
