at last an audi

hi there and greetings from sunny Weston super mare in the west country..
firstly let me introduce myself...my name is Richard and I am a commercial window cleaner(you know the sort of thing,hanging of the side of skyscrapers and hotels).
anyway this weekend I scrapped the old mondeo v6 st200 and had to find another motor..ive always fancied the audi a4 1.8t but only being 24 a turbo charged car was a no no on insurance.....I enquired and I was wrong..pretty much the same in fact a bit cheaper...so now I was on a mission...
with limited funds of about £1600 I didn't hold much hope of finding something half decent...
but amazingly around the corner from me was a 2003 1.8t s line up for £2000.

130000 miles(high i know) but history up to 120000 with cambelt changed @ 100000
but on my budget I got her £1500 I don't think I done bad..
im doing lots of research on the turbo engine anyway no probs yet to report (im sure there will be)..going to do an oil and filter change at the weekend just for the sake of it.. but im a very happy bunny and proud to pop my audi and not to mention turbo cherry...wish me luck....richard

thanks for the welcome....no plans yet...get her on the diagnostic to see whats what then maybe a a remap on standard equipment...but im thinking it might be a bit too high miles to stress her out...I would like optimum performance rather than all out power....might be the same thing with a remap...im new to this so excuse my ignorance...richard

Woah got that at a really good price, liking the interior, don't want to disappoint you but that's not an s-line (I presume the previous owner just stuck the badges on).

my 2004 Ltd Edition has S Line badges on as well. I thought they all did.
