I did a vcds scan on my car yesterday after activating rear lights on as DRL,
Error came up as ‘Central Electrics’ ‘09’ not coded correctly. I have looked through things and noticed that ‘ADL’ check box is ticked, what is ADL? Thinking I may have ticked this by mistake trying to activate the rear DRL, (Bit 4) not sure. Everything is working fine....

The assisted lighting refers to the lights that turn as you turn the car right or left ( i think )

That’s cornering lights, I have them activated too and work ok.
Or do you mean the headlight beam turns?

I’ll do a full scan tomorrow and get the error code

ADL is a system that allows you to leave the main beam on permanently, a sensor in the screen picks up on coming traffic or cars in front and just blocks the beam in that area. only ever seen it on VW ?

Thanx for that, I don’t have that on my car, I shall untick/save then check scan again,
