Need a hand with my project s3-400 need a part number off a vw etka,please help.pm me.
 
vw sharan intake manifold ,off the early 1.8t from 1997 on,cable driven throttle,probably agu or aeb engine code.cheers Guys.
 
I'm after the intake manifold not the turbo inlet pipe.Been told it the manifold is the right orientation for a s3.
Sun diagnostics site seems to quote the sharan as having a aeb and agu engine between 96-98 and ajh from 98-01. It will be the aeb/agu manifold as it will have large ports and a different part number.

Thought I'd reply here as it might be interesting to others.

Yep as far as I can tell the engine code is AJH for all the 1.8T engines in the Sharan from 11/97 -02/00(taken from the engine code lookup) this is the only model this engine code is used anywhere across the VAG group.

The AEB engine is used in the A4, A6 and passat according to ETKA and AGU is used in the A3, Bora and Golf.

The part number listed for the AJH manifold is 06A 133 201 N but it is refered to as a Suction pipe - but this is definately the whole manifold assembley.

Just to back up what's been said by Ben:

ETOS offers the same information that's been posted from ETKA (and my pants version of ETKA concurrs too)...

I've shown the screenie that lists all the engines that went into the Sharan between 96 and 00...

Below that is the Manifold (as Ben mentioned, with it's typically vague parts-catalogue name "Suction Pipe") for the AJH engine and ex. VAT dealer price (as of about Thursday night)...

As a favour guys could you put you the same picture (intake manifold) for the apy audi s3 engine?

just noticed that a 1.8t engine spreadsheet show a awc and ver engine code for the sharan???
 
Just had a thought would part 13(gasket) be able to tell you if it's largeport?Should be the same part number as the agu/aeb engine and not others (smallport).

Thanks again,Could you tell me the part number of the gasket(part 13) on the first ajh engined sharan(covered with box!),it's seems as though the gasket for the largeport head is 058 129 717 B and smallport 058 129 717 D.
Seems like etka gets the handings of the manifold slightly wrong as the apy and agu are opposite.

Looks like i need 06A 133 201 N,i'll give vag-parts a try might be a touch cheaper than stealers.
Rob could you put up the bam engine intake screenshot as this should be handed,i owe you one mate.

400bhp is the goal,rods are being uprated also valves.Objective is to hold the power till 8000rpm redline which the vf34 will not do.

HTC-At over £1000 plus customs and shipping i'd rather use something that will do the job at a fraction of the price.Nice rs4 throttle body but a bit overkill unless your pushing silly numbers.Ports shown are just standard small vs largeport which mine will be,although bigger!
 
That one is largeport and i'm sure they will with all those golfs in the states.Not worth it for you though rich.

You can get it for 450euro but it's smallport only and there's not enough meat on it to port match to largeport.
There's the Jabba/proalloy one but i'm a tight wad!
 
Whats that Ryan? The dahlback? You can get it in any combo you want... large port, small port, RH intake, LH intake...

Thanks mate,sorted it now.I'll have to get a copy of etka at some point.
 
Dahlback do an inlet mani for the AGU...They just emailed me back... Im sure they also do one with the inlet suitable for the S3, with big ports...

They sent a so called rh intake large port to bill and clive and they were both no good.
Sharan one will do the job.
