I’ve got a 2017 a3, and I’m trying to retrofit a flat bottom wheel with shifters. However, I turned the wheel 90, and there’s no clip on either side. If i go about 105, there’s holes, but still no clips. Hard to get light in there but I fiddled with a flathead anyway, definitely no clip. Doesn’t seem to be a torx or other screw either. I took a video with flash on and, from the quick glimpses i got, there is a bit of gray in there, but looks more to be the wire. I’ve searched the internet and everyone has clips. Am I missing something here? Pics below
