OK, I love the A6 Allroad 2.5tdi, (I have three of them!) but I've had it to the back teeth with the poxy airbag suspension system so I want to rip the whole lot out and replace it with coilovers.

Here's the rub though; I DONT want it lowered to the point its scraping on the deck. These are my workhorses, not pimp-wagons, and their main function is towing things, specifically trailering my A4 Quattro to trackdays; the 'proper' bottom position would be perfect.

So I'm thinking standard (or maybe sport) A6 Avant Quattro bits might do the trick? Has anyone done this, and if so which parts did they use? No objection to using new adjustable kits with Avant top mounts, they dont even need to be expensive as its not doing high mileage, but from what I can see they are all about lowering, and their highest position might well be too low for the Allroad, especially with a boot full of wheels and tools, and 100kg on the ball.

What do you think
