a5 convertible rattle

hi....ive notice a faint knock/rattle when driving along the road,i can hear it very faintly when on a road with the odd bump/uneven surface...........but more noticeable when going over speed bumps.

its from the rear of the car.

checked the boot area but nothing loose i can see..BUT what i have noticed is that when the roof/hood is down......the noise goes away.......soon as i put the roof back up and drive its knocking....sounds like plastic....?

Haven't had this myself, but as it's there when the roof is up and not when the roof is down I'd start by looking at the movable compartment lid for the roof storage, perhaps something is loose here?

its weird mate...and driving me nuts! lid for the roof looks good...im going av get in boot and ask a mate drive lol
