A4 Symphony Radio Code

Hello,

I'm away to install a parrot system on a a4 b7 (2005) with a audi symphony radio. Not sure what version it is but it's a double din with a tape player aswell as a cd. I can't find the code in the book but have read online that if the radio is going back into the same car the ecu will recognise it providing I'm not putting in a new radio? Can't anyone confirm if this is correct or will I need to find the radio code first?

I've had the battery off mine recently and also had the radio (non-cassette Concert) out and it didn't need a code when put back. As you said, it remembers which car it came from so if it's still in the same one it doesn't need it.

shouldn't need the code. its all paired up with the ECU module.
