A3 condenser

Has anyone replaced the condenser themselves? What is involved? Mine has a hole in it so all gas is gone. I was gonna fit myself then just get regassed at garage.

Anyone got any advice?

I did my condenser when i crashed and replaced the bumper, front panel and radiator as well. You should be able to get away with just taking off the front panel and bumper if your just doing the condenser. Easy-ish job, but do your self a favour and replace the seals on all the pipes as well, as when i did mine i didnt and couldnt get it re-gassed becuase one of the seals were leaking.
