radio problem help!!!!!

i had a nokia fone car kit that was connected to my cd player in my 54 plate a3, and i decided i wanted rid of it and cut the wires and tucked the rest up behind the dash however radio or cd player doesnt work now it only comes up the messge saying phone, any body help me with this problem driving with no music is a killer! please say its hassle free?

You've grounded the mute pin of the radio, hnce why it says "PHONE" on the radio.

You need to unplug the wires from the carkit to the HU, you'll need to pull the HU to do this. Would be easier just to reconnect the control box from the carkit and just remove the cradle
