Remap ?

Hi there,
I recently purchased an s3, it's done 110k now the clutch is the original and occasionally slips. Now I have the option to get a map this weekend , if I get that sorted with the original clutch how long am I going to have to wait for it to go pop. I do plan to get a clutch next month but I'm just trying to work out if I will be ok if I don't do any hard launches ?

Pointless given the car extra power if it cant handle what its got at mo..

Id get the clutch sorted first m8.. As its slipping already

I'm not sure what to do clutch wise , most companys say helix or sachs , they would I guess as it's more expensive ! . Should I just go for an oem and go from there ! . Am only planning 300bhp for now .
