Looking at a tdi ( as i think all turbos are the same?) on pistion heads and the person stated this-
I think the VNT mechanisms inside the turbo are sticking every once in a blue moon which puts the car into limp mode (this hasn't happened for the last 3/4weeks though), you can buy a product to clean the turbo out and is common fault on these VAG engines.
I personally havnt heard of turbos sticking. Hes says that you can buy a product to easily clean out the turbo but i beg to differ.
Does anyone know what the exact cause could be so i might be able to haggle him down a lot on the price.
