Retrofit Xenons

Hey sorry to bring this up again.
Just wanted some clarification after looking at other threads.
Looking at retrofitting OEM set of xenons to my 06 A3.
Want to double check what i need to do.
I think roughly just need converter cables and vag com.
not to forget auto level and washers.
Is that all?

To do it properly you also need headlights "E" marked suitable for HID lights which your halogen reflectors wont be. On the A3 that means the projector headlights.

no, im goin to buy OEM xenons so just straight swapppin the units in.

Yes thats all, but 'that' is quite a bit. Would mean new bumper, washer mechanism, the sensors for tha axels, control module, wiring & switch etc. Could end up quite a bit even sourcing 2nd hand.
