Dials / Clocks

Hey,

At the moment the LCD display on my dials / clocks isn't showing up and after reading some posts on here i'm sure that its packed up.
Now i know i could remove them,send them off to be fixed etc.But i was thinking that if i can get hold of some new/used working ones that could be easier.

I think the price of fixing them is around £160 but i've seen some ones on ebay which are brand new for £70.

What would i need to do to get the new ones working in my car all ok?

Has anybody had this problem and what did you do it fix it?

The reason i ask this is cause i really like to see te range on miles to empty , mpg etc.which i can't do atm due to them/ it being broken.

You sure you have not turned off the display by pressing the rest button for too long!!!

Just hold the rest button under the right stalk and they should turn on.

Ye if its off completely you've probably turned it off, press the reset button and it should come back on.

When they die they usually drop lines and fade out, but dont go off completely.

It was fading out before but i did turn it off.But now its really dim , as in i can't see it,its that dim.

What would my options be?

The cluster can be replaced but it's a specialist job.
