2 new buttons on driver side?

My audi a4 avant 54 plate.. has 2 buttons at the bottom on drivers door... when u pull them a red light comes on .. what are these 2 buttons?

one could be tilt disable for towing, other could be for interior monitoring say for animal or kids when car is locked.
