Where is A3 Alarm?

Hi can someone tell me where in a 1999 Audi A3 1.8T sport would i find the alarm? I am having several electrical faults, and i am trying to identify where everything is.

The alarm "siren" (clock radio emulator) is underneath the tupperware sub in the passenger side cubbyhole behind the central locking pump. The controller is behind the sub screwed to the inner panel.

So are you saying the alarm is in two parts? I ask this because there is the black box which is behind the sub. and there was another under the power steering pump which i have not yet had time to get out yet.

Think the alarm's in the boot next to the subwoofer.
