Hello All...

Anyone able to assist with a few Q's on the Bose setup installed in a 2004 S4 Cab - please

1) What is the power output of the Bose amp (I will guess quite low)

2) Where is it located in a Cab?

3) The Bose pin on the RNS-E, does this connect back to the amp or just an earth strap to configure settings in the HU?

4) Is it true that line level inputs are presented at the amp from the HU?

Cheers

1. 4 x 50w (peak, approx 4 x 18wrms) into 2ohms
2. No idea
3. The Bose pin just tells the HU to provide a totally flat EQ for the Bose system, so your bass & treble controls won't work properly. Snip the wire and get some decent highs & lows back.
4. Both front & rear line levels are presented at the amp along with a remote on and all the speaker connections. Can't help you with a pinout though, but I'm sure someone has one. Or you can use the BLAU adapter at the HU and run proper RCA's, but only if you are going to completely bypass the Bose amp.
