FINALLY I now have the car back from the garage after replacing the master cylinder, t-piece, slave cylinder, clutch and flywheel. Dont even want to mention how much that cost as it wasnt cheap. Although it is REALLY smooth now.

Anyway, on recieving the car back, I notice the temperature guage doesnt move off 60. Ive put this down to the garage not plugging it back in when finishing the work. What needs to be plugged in and where, so I can check if this is the problem?

Hi i would take it back to the garage if your 100% it was working beforehand, as they may have unplugged something,

or it could be the temp sender a common problem on s3's mine went but my temp just stayed on 0 not 60, it was about £20 for a new one iirc, i just took it to a mechanic who fitted it in about 5 mins easy job if it i that, but i would definatly take it back if it ws working before hand,
