I'm completely new to this and was wondering what accessories I will need to change my Audi concert for a pioneer headunit. Also what are the main problems that I am likely to encounter?

I've got the release keys to remove it so far

I know I need to get the

First check if it is non Bose as it's important. Look in the left hand cubbyhole in the boot. If the tupperware sub has a silver metal front to it with a single 6.5" speaker then it's a non Bose system. If it has a black plastic front with two 4" drivers then it's Bose. The Bose system is a complete pain and you will encounter popping when changing CD tracks, radio stations etc when using an aftermarket HU. Non Bose is much easier, all you need is the adapter above, the fascia panel and an antenna amp adapter:

You will have to fade to rear quite a bit to balance the sound as the Pioneer will be twice the power of the feeble Audi rear/sub amp which is only 2 x 20w + 1 x 50w for the sub.

Hi.

Thanks. Now, forgive me for being stupid but am i correct in assuming that what i've got is the non bose system. I took a picture just in case :)
