...notice the announcement:

Hi All,

Just a quick note to make you aware that Audi-Sport.net is scheduled to move to a new, updated, higher-performance platform in the next few days.

As part of the move, the site will need to be taken offline for short periods (likely a total of 4-6 hours). We will try to give as much advance notice as possible before this happens, but it may not always be necessary.

Please bear with us while we perform this work, the result will be well worth it. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can call the Highways Agency on 08457 50 40 30 - I don't know why you'd want to, as it's nothing to do with them, but it seems like the type of thing I'm supposed to finish with...

Thanks and regards,

Rob.

Well, if you've not had a heads-up and you've got a free txt, it might still be worth it mate - there's still a chance the old box will run out of blue smoke unexpectedly before we intend it to go down!

Cheers,

Rob.

Lol to the highways!

Thanks for letting us know Rob :icon_thumright:

Thanks for letting us know Rob, can you please put up details for compensation for claims that may be made for lost time away from the forum, I mean, what am I supposed to do????? :uhm: LOL

Ahh thats a bummer lol, Will all the profiles be refreshed? Like the Location, Post count, Sig and avater etc?

What am I supposed to fill those 4-6 hours with?!?!?!?!

I knew there must be a good reason for you to phone the Highways Agency! ;)

have you got a method statement and risk assesment ????
Although I live in South Wales, my blood is still very much Lancastrian; as such that means both method statement and risk assesment are combined and concise:

"'be reet."

:)
