right guna change it next month, but am having problems finding a decent priced one (£150 tops)

can we go the vr6 plate and single mass flywheel route?

VR6 clutch can't be used on a 1,8T.

It's 240mm vs the 1,8T's 228.

If you're after a single-mass flywheel, let me know.

I can supply for both 228 and 240mm clutches to fit the 1,8T.

If however you're looking to spend only £150 on a 3-piece clutch assembly, I can't help you there. I only go OEM.

if your planning on tuning it or keeping it for any length of time then i'd consider fitting a single mass flywheel (your dual mass is probably knackered anyway) and get the singlemass in 240mm to take an S4 clutch.

its going to cost at a guess around £250 for the flywheel though, and £150 will just about buy you an S4 clutch at a motorfactors.
