17" alloys?

Hi..
Just joined forum and after a set of 17" alloys and tyres to replace the standard 16" 'trapese' ones. Would prefer OE S-line but WHY?

S-Line alloys are 18". I have a set of 5 17" "star" alloys that are standard on the "sport" A4, pm me if you're interested.
