Hey guys for a while now on vag.com my car has brought up a knock sensor code saying signal to high or something similar.

This has been the case for the past 3 years so I dont think and hope it can not be anything serious.

I have ordered a green plugged sensor but I also notice there is a blue plugged one as well. Does anyone have any experience with similar faults and have any info?

I maybe should have ordered both sensors and just replaced them both?

i'd imagine with a knock sensor fault the ecu will ****** the timing a bit to keep everything safe...

Yeah I do sometimes drive along at a steady 70 for a long time and if I put the foot down the car does not respond as well. Is like the car is then just a n/a 1.8 or something.

Would this be the case because of a sensor fault?

I dont ever get a check engine light.
