Getting my A3 lowered on H+R srpings on the stock shocks this weekend, mate of mine said when he had his 8p a3 lowered on eibach springs he had to get bump stops because it rubbed like mad when he went over bumps. He was on aftermarket 19's. Im on Audi 18" rims. So will i need bump stops???

Mine is on 19" RS6 rims and dropped 70mm ish all round it dont rub .
the only issue your friend might have had was the offset . mine was on 40mm Eibach springs ans dint rub on 19s unless totally loaded .

Mine rubs like crazy with anymore than 2 people in the car, it's due to offset and the fact the coilovers have settled since fitting them though.

I think it's different in every case depending on wheels, tyres, suspension etc - fit them and see if you have any issues.

i think i should be ok after giving this more thought, mainly because he had some aftermarket 19" wheels, probably running a weird offset. Im rolling on OEM 18's ET54 gonna be using 10mm rear spacers tho.
