Right my petrol gauge has decided to start playing up the couple of weeks, first it would float about between 1/4 - 1/2 on a trip, one day i went out on 1/4 and ended up with 1/2 a tank then it went down to 1/4 again in the next 10 miles.
Now, i had just over 1/4 then suddenly it's gone to empty (15 miles on DIS ) so i put £30 to try and get it to life but still on empty?? I suspect it will probably be fine in the morning but want to get it fixed.
judging by old posts in 2004 quite a few people had this problem but none since, has anyone else had this problem or can they shed any light on it ,i gather it's the sender but are they easy to get to?? there was mention of the dash cluster too... God i hope it's not that!!
