which owners manual to get

Hi im looking to buy an audi owners manual for a 2001 facelift A3 however the ones on ebay im not sure about as some say to 2001 some say to 96-2003 etc. did they change with the facelift? and if so waht should i look out for to get?

Yes, I think they did. I had to buy a new one when my original one was stolen and the one I got was different from the original supplied with the car. Even though my car was a facelift, they changed them during the facelift process - may have been when the engine output went up to 225bhp?

will the old manual be ok for me? will it have everything basically the new one does?

Yeah, it will cover all the same stuff. Just a different front/back cover and as previously mentioned, the tech stuff may refer to either the 210 or the 225bhp engine depending when the manual was published.
