Springs

Hi all,

Turns out I have a cracked offside front spring (Great).

Car: A3 1.8T
Current setup: Koni dampers and Eibach springs. (30mm drop).

Now it's probably best to replace all 4 springs (which seems such a shame and a pain in the *** at this time of the year - grrr). Obviously I wouldn't just replace one spring, but I wouldn't mind replacing just the front pair of springs. Thus being the case, does anyone know where I can buy only 2 front Eibach springs? Maybe one of the site 'sponsors' on here can split a pack? lol

Failing this, it's likely I will purchase a full set, assuming they will fit fine with my dampers. So this brings me to the question of what to go for? I've had Eibach (obviously), I'm fine with the drop / ride height, the drive is a bit harsh (but I'm used to that). Any recommendations? Perhaps the H&R / Weitec (I read Prawn's write up on them). I don't want to drop to 50mm really.

My MOT is looming, (this week) so I need to get these springs ASAP.

Advice / recommendations all gratefully received!

We wouldn't be able to split the spring set but we can do you a full set!

I think you've suggested the right ones to go for. H&R, KW or the ever popular Weitec.

Just give me a shout if you want a price!
