Saw a post about this a while back, evidently these calipers will fit in the 18" "coke bottle" wheels with the 334mm disks from the Golf R? Has anyone done this or seen anything about it? I can't find this post for some reason. I have access to used Porsche parts and could probably get a set of these pretty cheaply.

Any thoughts welcome and appreciated

Well the Mk7 Golf R is 5x112 PCD, the S1 is 5x100 so the discs are out for a starter....

Apols, not sure why I typed that - it was the Golf R32 (a car I always liked), not the Golf R

Assume the calipers you’re referring to are the Brembo 17/18z’s? They work on a huge variety of VAG cars, S1 is probably no exception. If it’s doable google will hold the answers!

These calipers can already be had off eBay for £150-200 in used condition, just need find some off a breaker without the scene tax. They’re very easy and cheap to rebuild.
