As stated in title, I bought a 2013 Audi A3 8v PFL 1.6tdi recently, it was sold as a "cat N, with a Facelift front end and airbag light on and needs DRLS coding" its the right colour (ie black) is S-line looks good and was lowish mileage and money so took the plunge.
Aswell as an airbag light on, I also get "front indicator" warnings and "headlight range" error on the dash. In additon air con is blowing just outside air, fuel cap doesnt lock. I assumed it would come with sat nav & parking sensors but it doesnt, I will sort these out at some point but main concern is current fault codes. I bought VCDS and just did my first scan - see below.
main things I want to know is,
- did they wire the front lights in properly by looks of it and what do I need to do to clear those codes?
- air bag light - can I just clear that code and be ok or do the codes show something more needs doing?
- air con faults do they show anything sinister or will a regas sort it?
- any other causes for concern?
I got a key locking fuel cap for now and car drives really nice tbf although no info on cambelt change as history was rubbish that came with car
any help/info gratefully receieved, I'm a novice to VCDS etc so please go easy

Aswell as an airbag light on, I also get "front indicator" warnings and "headlight range" error on the dash. In additon air con is blowing just outside air, fuel cap doesnt lock. I assumed it would come with sat nav & parking sensors but it doesnt, I will sort these out at some point but main concern is current fault codes. I bought VCDS and just did my first scan - see below.
main things I want to know is,
- did they wire the front lights in properly by looks of it and what do I need to do to clear those codes?
- air bag light - can I just clear that code and be ok or do the codes show something more needs doing?
- air con faults do they show anything sinister or will a regas sort it?
- any other causes for concern?
I got a key locking fuel cap for now and car drives really nice tbf although no info on cambelt change as history was rubbish that came with car
any help/info gratefully receieved, I'm a novice to VCDS etc so please go easy
