S3 Tyres - 19s - any recommendations?

Hey guys

Did search but nothing posted recently.

235/35 R19 91Y

Looking to change the rear tyres as Audi thought it wise to sell a car with one budget (GT Radial) one part worn Bridgestone Turanza T005.

The fronts are T005 but I previously ran P-Zero’s. These Bridgestones don’t offer much in regards to rim / lip protection.

What I liked about the P-Zero’s were the rim protecting lip.

Any recommendations that have that lip design?

I love the P-Zeros. I hit a pothole, blew the front out and egged the rear. I had to drive around 3/4 of a mile in pitch darkness and the rim completely survived. I do run winters from around November to March though. If you bought the car from an Audi main dealer it shouldn’t have odd tyres, not good for the Haldex. I’d be questioning that……

Well they have conceded to replace both - I just need to decide which brand / type to go for.

I prob will go with the P-Zero’s depending on advice here.

Any particular P-Zero that’s one to look for?

No, Audi are paying, likely National Tyres fitting

I got my last pair from a local tyre fitter, I specified ‘AO1’.
