Can you fold wing mirrors manually?

On my old A3 Sportback 8P you could fold back the wing mirrors manually - just push them inwards if you were in a tight parking spot.

My new A3 doesn't have the electric folding mirrors, which I'm not too fussed about but was wondering if you can just push them inwards yourself in the same way? Not something I would do often but there may be the odd situation when it could be useful.

I don't want to try it before I know just in case I break it.

Yes, that is actually possible but for some reason they need some more effort to be closed compared to previous cars that i had
