My new Rieger diffuser arrived today for my FL A3 saloon s line. Anyone 100% confirm if the rear bumper does infact have to be removed in the fitting of it ? Going to see the chap at the local body shop next week so be great to have the info first. Any other advice re fitting it ?

The Maxton one doesn’t require the bumper to be removed so I wouldn’t expect the Rieger to be any different. It’s best, however to apply a bit of Tiger Seal on the top/middle.

Perfect cheers buddy. Is the clips etc no strong enough themselves this better with the tiger seal ?

Again, I can only speak for the Maxton. There are no clips as such, just ‘tangs’ without hooks that go through the holes in the bumper. I fitted the diffuser and blobbed some Tiger Seal on the inside by reaching up from under the car. I then taped it secure overnight.
