HESITATION BETWEEN GEARS

So, I’ve recently bought my s3 8L… replaced turbo clutch flywheel etc, full airtec front mount with creation pipes to match upwards of map pipe and joiner. Old style forge recirc on a yellow spring. Mapped by b5 along long time ago. Switchable maps, running 260.
EDIT *THE CAR ALSO HAS TWO FAULTS FOR EGT SENSOR FAILING AND RUNNING PAST LIMITATION*

now onto my issue, I’m finding between first and second it hesitates jerks the car and then you get boost back and it pops a little too. It does the same if flat out changing gear but not as bad just seems to drop of lots.
Really hope someone can give me some insight!

Fix the EGT sensor issue as this will be causing the ECU to overfuel the engine and suspect is leading to the symptoms you are describing

I thought so. I made this post before reading the other thread describing the same thing. Time to peel open the box and try and repair it.

I bought a new PCB from www.sidmotorsport.pl.

Easy fix and much easier than swapping out the sensor in the turbo!

I actually ended up changing it and the car is the best it’s ever been.
