Windscreen cover

Washed my a6 this morning and noticed a crack from bottom to top in the center of the windscreen...luckily for me I have cover with Hastings direct...115 excess..its going in Thursday as the car has aes autonomous something or other,can't remember the name...does anyonee have an idea of total cost ?? Irrelevant to me im just curios...Insurance uses national windscreens..had a quick check of the reviews and seems good...anyone else used them,just company in general and was all good ?

Ridiculous price there, have you checked a quote with Auto Glass?

A G was the root cause of the problem, long story short, after circa 3 months they couldn't acquire an oem windscreen; I didn't want a lookalike, my ins coy (NFU), paid for the new windscreen via my local dealer and had a serious discussion with AG. AG compensated me for the delays.

AutoGlass I found to be better than National Windscreens. They rushed the job and made a mess of it...

oh man Steve940, at least you got some form of compensation from Auto Glass. Rightly so .
