Weird White Spots On Window Chrome

I have no idea what's causing this, only on the driver side though. Anyone else have the same issue?

Fairly normal for chrome strips tbh.

Could be harsh chemicals from hand car wash type places. They use aggressive traffic firm remover left to long can cause all sorts of damage.
